The two words most used to describe James McLoughlin are work ethic and dedication. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and at the age of 13 had five paper routes. Later in life, that dedication and work ethic helped him complete the NYC Marathon twice and various triathlons. He obtained his work ethic from his parents, and grandfather a World War II veteran that stormed the Beaches of Normandy.

Work ethic and dedication are a part of James' genetic make-up. He has spent years in the financial services industry from working directly with portfolio managers, to maintaining accounting records for equity initial public offerings, as well as helping families accumulate and preserve wealth for retirement.  He holds his series 7 & 63 securities licenses, and Life and Health insurances licenses. James is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, Wealth Management Specialist, and a Senior Financial Advisor with Raymond James Financial Services. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.

Now, James and his wife Melyssa of 20 years, fill their free time with all the awesome daily endeavors of their two children (Dylan 17, & Jordan 12). James enjoys coaching youth basketball at the local church. He is an active lifetime member of the Father’s Guild at St. Anthony’s High School in Huntington, NY.
